Third Graders Learn About Native American Traditions

Our 3rd graders had a wonderful hands-on learning experience thanks to a grant from the South Carolina Arts Commission! As part of their CKLA curriculum, students are currently learning about Native Americans, and we were honored to welcome Tammy from the Wassamaw Tribe of Varnetown Indians to our school. Students created beautiful bone bead bracelets while learning more about Native culture and traditions. They had the best time and left with the coolest bracelets, and even better memories!
